Let’s talk solar →Start with your electricity use, roof conditions and whether you need backup. An on-grid system works with the electricity grid. Hybrid and off-grid systems need a suitable design for the loads they will supply.
A standard grid-tied inverter switches off during a grid outage for safety. Backup requires compatible equipment, a battery where specified, and a safely isolated backup circuit. Confirm the supported appliances and backup duration in your proposal.
The price depends on system capacity, equipment, structure, site conditions and installation scope. Request an itemised quotation showing taxes, inclusions, exclusions and payment terms. Any eligible subsidy is separate from the payable quotation.
A site assessment checks usable, unshaded space, roof strength, access and panel layout. Capacity alone cannot determine the space needed for every roof.
Eligibility is assessed under the current residential rooftop scheme and your DISCOM requirements. Apply through the official portal and follow its approval, installation and commissioning process. Subsidy is subject to verification and is not guaranteed or an automatic upfront discount.
Panel product and performance warranties, inverter cover, battery cover and installation workmanship cover are separate. Ask for the exact model, duration, exclusions and service process in your quotation. Routine inspection and safe cleaning help maintain the system.
